5 questions to ask before joining an OnlyFans agency
A good agency can take a lot of work off your plate. A bad one can take your accounts, your income and your peace of mind. The difference usually shows up in five simple questions. Ask them before you sign anything, and ask for the answers in writing.
1. Who owns my accounts?
Your OnlyFans, your Instagram and your email should stay yours. Some agencies ask for your logins on day one and then hold on to them. Ask exactly who gets access, to which accounts, and what happens to that access if you stop working together.
2. What is the split, exactly?
The revenue split should be one clear number in your contract. Not a range, not a promise in a DM. Ask what the split is calculated on, and whether it can change later. If it can, ask how and who decides.
3. When and how do I get paid?
Ask for the payment dates and the payment method. You should always be able to see what your page earned and how your share was worked out.
4. How do I leave?
Every agreement should have clear exit terms: how much notice you give, what happens to your accounts, and what you owe, if anything. If leaving sounds complicated, that is a warning sign.
5. Who decides what I create?
You do. A good agency plans content around what you are comfortable with and never pressures you past your boundaries. Ask how they handle it when you say no.
Red flags to watch for
If you hear any of these, slow down:
- A guaranteed income, like "you'll make $10k in your first month"
- Pressure to sign today
- No written contract, or a contract you are not allowed to take home and read
- Vague answers about account ownership or leaving
