Is an OnlyFans agency a scam? How to check one before you sign
Some OnlyFans agencies are real businesses. Some are scams, and many more are just bad deals that look nice on Instagram. Before you sign, check six things: a registered company, real people with names, no upfront fees, a written contract, a clear way out, and no income guarantees.
1. A registered company
A real agency has a legal company name and a place where it's registered, not just an Instagram handle. Ask for both. The same name should be on the website and on the contract. If all you have is a first name on WhatsApp, you don't know who you're working with.
2. People with names
Ask who runs the agency and who will work on your page. You should get names, not "the team". People who won't say who they are can disappear just as easily.
3. No upfront fees
Agencies earn from a percentage of your page. If someone asks you to pay to join, to pay for a course first, or to pay for "verification", walk away.
4. A written contract
The split, the payment dates, who owns your accounts and how you leave should all be written down. Take the contract home and read it with nobody watching. If they won't let you, that tells you enough.
5. A clear way out
Ask how you leave. How much notice, what happens to your accounts and your content, and what you owe. If the answer is vague, or the notice is very long, be careful.
6. No income guarantees
Nobody can promise what your page will earn. An agency that says "you'll make $10k in your first month" is selling you a dream to get your signature.
Other red flags
Slow down if you see any of these:
- They ask for nude photos to "apply"
- They want your passwords on day one and then change them
- They won't show you what your page earned
- They pressure you to sign today
- They get annoyed or go quiet when you ask questions
